We're Here!!!
Well, we are officially checked into the "hotel on the hill" and Peyton is back in the OR. We have eaten breakfast (you should be proud of me!) and now we are waiting in the surgery waiting area. Peyton did really good and only cried for a split second as they wheeled him away in the wagon. He was such a good sport....of course, the versed helped calm him down quite a bit. We met the surgeon and the anesthesiologist. The anesthesiologist has worked with Peyton before which gives us lots of comfort. This is the first time we have met the surgeon and he seemed to know everything about Peyton. We feel really comfortable with him, his knowledge, and his skills. It always scares me when they talk about the risks but they have to and I understand that. And there were no surprises....I knew about everything that the surgeon told us! So, for now, enjoy the pictures of his pre-op time and I'll update when we get updated!

You sound so calm and collected...sheesh! I think I would be a wreck. We are thinking about you guys and praying for smooth sailing today. I will be glued to my google reader looking for updates in the next few days. We are all sick, so Grant's cath got rescheduled, so we won't see you on Friday. I hope that you are blessed with awesome nurses who can keep on top of pain and that you have some great distractions to get you through the waiting today!
