So, other than the stitches issue, he is doing so well. I have to make sure he has Ibuprofen in his system all the time otherwise he throws up. And it's usually in the middle of the night. If I don't catch it in time, then I'm doing laundry in the middle of the night as well. So, we just make it easy and give him Ibuprofen. He doesn't like to take his medicine, but he does it. And he doesn't care for the oxygen but he wears it. He is such a trooper with so much energy. He still has to take a nap otherwise he is unbearable right around dinner time. He constantly asks to watch a movie or play MarioKart. And lately, that's what he has been doing so that I can get things done.
On Friday, Mason went to his cousin's house and spent the night. It was so nice to get a break. Sometimes Mason is the grouchiest, whinniest, must unagreeable child in the house. So, Montana and I took Peyton and Tanner to BYU to see the Carl Bloch exhibit at the Museum of Art. It was pretty amazing! And then we went and got ice cream. Peyton had a lot of fun being the center of attention.
Then on Saturday, Montana and I were able to do some spring cleaning. It felt so good to go through clothes and toys and books and the basement. We had lots of stuff that just needed to be put back where it belongs. I feel like my house is quite a bit cleaner just cause lots of the clutter is gone.
For St. Patrick's Day, we all wore green (except Montana) and I attempted to make shamrock pancakes for breakfast.
That was the extent of our green food. (We did have green beans with dinner...does that count?!?) I just couldn't do any more than that. I figure I have an excuse this year. Hopefully next year we can do some more fun things! It was also crazy hair day at school and that's a little difficult with a boy. He wanted his hair spiked and a mowhawk in the middle. So, we attempted and he was satisfied!
Oh and we went to DI and found this awesome tent. Now we can go camping when it gets a bit warmer!
Cute Tanner
