Last Wednesday he came up to me crying and said that he broke his tooth. I looked in his mouth and all of his teeth were still there. There was just a little blood. So I wiggled the tooth to see how loose it was. Mason kept saying it hurt. I would check it everyday and see how loose it was getting. And every morning I would ask him how his tooth was doing.
Tonight we were eating dinner and all of a sudden, Mason came over to me and said, "Mom, my tooth fell out". He was so calm and relaxed about it. I kinda freaked out cause I was so excited about it.
He put it under his pillow tonight and I asked him what the tooth fairy was going to bring him. He told me that the tooth fairy would bring him $1.00. I mentioned that that was a lot of money and he said he would be happy with $0.25. I guess we'll just have to see what the tooth fairy leaves in place of the tooth!

I don't even want to go there. I don't want to see how Dallin reacts to a loose tooth, let alone loosing it. AND, I am totally disgusted by loose teeth that I may pass out when this happens. I didn't lose my first tooth until I was 8 so hopefully Dallin won't either. Yikes. Yeah for Mason though, I'm glad you can handle it!
So...what did the toothfairy leave?!?
My neighbor gave her kid 10 bucks for one tooth. I am glad Hank isn't old enough to understand...he would feel totally neglected when he loses his first tooth. :)
I'm so glad to hear that the tooth fairy is a modest tipper and your house too.
