Mason had a Moms and Muffins Day at school. I got to go to the school and Mason and his class sang a song to all the parents/grandparents that were there. Mason then read his books to me. We ate a muffin and he gave me my Mother's Day present! It was a flower that he had planted. The flowers were sitting in the window for a few weeks before this event and Mason would tell me not to look at them. And he was also afraid that his wasn't growing since a lot of them weren't. He was quite surprised to see what his looked like when his teacher gave it to him to give to me.
Montana took me on a really FUN date the other night. He didn't tell me what we were going to do so I was quite surprised! We rented a tandem bike and rode to dinner at Magleby's.
Then we went up the canyon and had a fire, roasted marshmallows, and ate smores. We had a lot of fun and it was great getting a break from the kids. And I didn't have to worry about the kids around the fire or the way high Provo River!
One morning I made waffles for breakfast...and I should not have gotten Tanner dressed before I fed him. He got syrup EVERYWHERE! He spread it in his hair and all over his arms and hands and face. So, he got a bath in the sink and he LOVED it!
