Well, life has kinda just been really busy...which is good but that also means that I haven't blogged in way too long! I was going through my memory cards and realized I have a ton of pictures to post. So, I will have multiple posts today...if I can get through them all!
Peyton had a Cardiology visit this past week at PCMC. It was a very good appointment. We started out with a chest x-ray. And it looked awesome. Then we did the EKG and the sats and the blood pressure. It took a couple of times to get an okay blood pressure. His sats were sitting right around 84. A couple of weeks ago they were sitting at 95 so this concerned me a bit. When the doctor came in, I asked her about it. And I also said that he has been more grouchy than normal. He will wake up in the morning and immediately be grouchy. So, she decided to put the pulse ox on for awhile and see what his sats would do. They did finally hover right around 92-93 so we were pleased with that. But she was concerned about the grouchiness. So she opted to have an ECHO done. And I was okay with that. We had a little bit of a wait for that so we wandered the hospital and picked up some M&M's for the ECHO. We watched Monsters vs. Aliens and Peyton did awesome. He held so still and didn't even really cry. When we were done, we talked with the doctor and she said the ECHO looked really good. His heart is pumping beautifully and there is no fluid around his heart. So, she sent us on our way with no prescription changes and an appointment in two months. Peyton continues to be a little grouchy but we are trying to get him off his PediaSure. And that makes for a not so happy little 3 year old! Now that he is doing better with that, we might try to potty train this week. But he is now throwing up so I guess we'll have to see if we can't get him better first!
