Phoenix

Montana's dad, Brock, had a heart attack this last week.  It was quite scary and Montana felt that he needed to go to Phoenix.  So, we looked into flights and rental cars and realized it would be cheaper for him to rent a car and drive then it would be to fly.  We reserved the smallest car possible since it was the cheapest.  When he went to pick up the car, they upgraded him to a truck for the same price.  So we decided to all jump in and go as a family.  It was a very enjoyable weekend!  Brock was in the hospital the night we arrived but came home the next day.  The kids were able to play with their cousins, swim, enjoy the warm weather, and spend time with their Papa.

Montana's mission president (President Cameron) is serving another mission with his wife at the Mesa Temple Visitor's Center.  On Sunday, we decided to head down there to see if we would run into them.  We also wanted to show the kids the temple that we were married in.  Mason decided to stay back with his cousins so we loaded up the other three and headed that direction.  We asked for the Camerons at the visitors center but the missionaries told us there were at church.  We decided to walk around the grounds with the kids.  When we were done, we loaded everybody up and started to drive away.  All of a sudden, Montana looked up and saw Sister Cameron walking down the street.  We stopped her and they invited us into their home (on the temple grounds) to visit.  We really enjoyed our visit with them.  They spoiled the kids with cookies as always.  It was so fun to see them while we were there!

We headed back home on Monday.  It was a much needed break from life and a great time spent with our little family as well as our extended family!
