Memorial Day Weekend

This past weekend was Memorial Day.  Montana decided to take Monster Burger to the Scandinavian Festival in Ephraim.  He left on Thursday night so be ready to go on Friday.  I brought the boys and Riley Jensen down on Friday after school.

Riley needed another campout for scouts so he came and pitched his tent for him and Mason to sleep in.  We camped at our favorite spot in Manti - Temple Hill Resort.  We spent the early evening setting up our tent and getting ready to cook dinner.  Montana came over after the festival and we hung around the campfire.  Saturday morning Montana had to be back at the festival for the rest of the day.  I got the kids breakfast and then we headed to the parade.  They threw lots of candy and Tanner even got a shirt!

We dropped Riley off to his family, wandered the festival, ate good food, and let the kids play.  We decided to stay through the rest of the holiday weekend so I headed to the store for more food.  We packed up the Monster Burger stuff and headed back to camp.  It rained quite a bit on Friday and Saturday but we stayed dry.  We spent quality time together as a family on Sunday and enjoyed one another's company.  We hiked around the campground, played football, and relaxed.  Monday we packed up and headed home.  It was such a relaxing weekend and a much needed family break!
