Pumpkin Picking

We are part of an organization that has fun activities and events for families that have a child with a life threatening disability called HopeKids! HopeKids has events throughout the year and you can pick and choose which ones you want to attend.

This past weekend, they had a pumpkin picking event in Syracuse. We were heading up to my parents for Conference and decided to hit this event. We rode in a trailer pulled by a tractor...John Deere non the less...to the pumpkin patch. Then the kids were able to wander around and pick a pumpkin. They had a few carnival style games for the kids afterwards. It was so fun to watch the boys get so excited over a pumpkin! And to find the "right" one!

We headed to my parents for the rest of General Conference weekend. Montana took Mason and Peyton to the fathers and sons outing with my Dad and Trent. Then they spent almost all day on Saturday four wheeling with Jeremy, Eric, Tyler, and Ryan. They came home really dirty and really tired. They must have had fun. I enjoyed the break and Tanner missed his brothers!

On Sunday, the whole family was at my parent's house. The kids got to pick a pumpkin from Grandma and Grandpa's pumpkin patch...aka their garden! The had so much fun and I didn't even take the camera out with me. So, I will have to add pictures when I get them from my siblings.

It was a great weekend with lots of family, food, fun, and uplifting words from our church leaders!
