Christmas Card 2011

Merry Christmas to all our family and friends! This year has been a good one, full of many blessings.

Mason (6) finished Kindergarten at the head of his class. He is now enjoying first grade. His favorite part of school is recess! He is growing up way too fast. He loves to read and learn. He also started piano lessons and played soccer. Mason was awarded the Super Sentinel Award in his first grade class for two months in a row. We are so proud of him!

Peyton (4) underwent another open heart surgery in March. This will hopefully be his final surgery. He is doing amazing from a heart standpoint. He is now on the yearly schedule for visiting his cardiologist.

In June, Peyton also had the opportunity to have a wish granted through the Make A Wish Foundation. His wish was to meet Mickey Mouse. In October, Make A Wish sent our entire family to Orlando, Florida. We spent 10 wonderful days down there in the sun. We visited Gatorland, Downtown Disney, Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, Epcot, Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, SeaWorld, Cocoa Beach, and the Atlantic Ocean. Peyton was able to meet Mickey Mouse TWO different times. We also stayed at Give Kids The World Village where they spoil you rotten. The children got different presents every day we were there. It was an amazing vacation for all of us.

Peyton also had the opportunity to be the Grand Marshall in the Provo Light Up Parade. He was so cute as he waved to everybody and then helped Santa turn on the lights in downtown Provo.

Tanner (21 months) celebrated his first birthday. He is growing like a weed. He is learning to talk with the help of a therapist. He loves his brothers and follows them around everywhere they go.

Melanie is staying at home with three busy boys. She is also teaching piano lessons. She is currently serving as the 2nd Counselor in the Relief Society Presidency. This keeps her busy. She thoroughly enjoys the women that she has the opportunity of interacting with.

Montana is still working at Provo Canyon School with troubled teens. He enjoys his time there and helping the youth. He is serving as the Young Men Secretary in the ward. He also got a puppy named Trigger.

We hope this season finds all of you happy and healthy. We are grateful for the blessings in our life. We are especially grateful for our Savior and for the opportunity we have to celebrate his birth and life.
