He's One!

My baby is one....It's so hard to believe that he has been with us for a whole year. He is growing well...although he is still little. But I'm okay with that. Here are his stats from his doctor's visit yesterday:

Weight - 18.41 lbs, 2.58%
Length - 29.2 in, 31.92%
Head Circumference - 17.25 cm, 2.2%

He got three shots and even today he is grouchy. His physical therapist was here this morning and he didn't want to do anything! But he is starting to get into a crawling position and rocking back and forth. He doesn't do it very often but he is getting it. He is also pulling up to the coffee table. He only stays on his knees but he will eventually figure it out.





We celebrated his birthday by going to Mason's first soccer game, then to Sonic for dinner, and then Jon and Kassie and boys joined us for cake and ice cream. It was quite low key for a first birthday but we still had a good time.














He is starting to eat lots of other things besides baby food. He still doesn't have any teeth so I avoid the meats and other things that are harder to "gum". He loves whole milk, peanut butter sandwiches, waffles (especially with syrup and butter), spaghetti, masshed potatoes, and pretty much anything else we try to give him. We haven't tried eggs yet but hopefully will soon!

He is such a joy to have around. He takes two good, long naps a day and sleeps from 7:30PM-6:30AM. He has a bottle three times a day and hopefully we can get him off that as we transistion from formula to whole milk. He will play on the floor for long periods of time...especially when his brothers are around. He loves his brothers and loves to follow them around and play with whatever they are playing with. We are so grateful that he is part of our family!

The other night, all three boys were sleeping kinda funny in their beds. So I had to take pictures and post them!
