For dinner we had pesto and noodles, green fruit salad with green Cool Whip, and green Sprite with mint chocolate chip ice cream in green cones for dessert. I would most definitely call our day a success!

St. Patrick's Day
This year, the leprechaun made an appearance at our house! He turned furniture upside down, made a mess of books and movies, and left golden treasures everywhere he went. When the boys woke up, they couldn't believe what the leprechaun had done. He also left a basket of goodies and Lucky Charms for breakfast. And he turned the milk green!
For dinner we had pesto and noodles, green fruit salad with green Cool Whip, and green Sprite with mint chocolate chip ice cream in green cones for dessert. I would most definitely call our day a success!

2 Months
I still can’t believe that Austin is growing
this fast. I feel like I just had
him! He’s cute and starting to
smile. He sleeps well and doesn’t cry
too much! He’s so fun to have
around! His brothers love him lots and
always want to hold him, kiss him, and be by him. (And Tanner’s almost three!)

Park City and Ortho Doctor
Peyton had a doctor’s appointment at Primarys so
we decided to take everybody and head to Park City afterwards. There is a Lego exhibit at the Kimball Art
Center right now. There were only a
handful of lego creations but they were so cool. I put Mason in charge of the camera and I
think he took a picture of every single creation! After the exhibit, we walked down Main Street
and found an ice cream shop. It was fun
just doing something with the kids!
So, Peyton’s doctor’s appointment… It was with an Orthopedic specialist at
PCMC. Back in October, we realized that
Peyton’s hips didn’t line up with each other.
He also has a leg and a foot that are longer and bigger than the other
side. We took him to the pediatrician
and he referred us to an Ortho specialist.
We finally got in to see the specialist.
They took x-rays of Peyton’s legs and hips. Then we talked with the doctor. If we didn’t do anything for this
discrepancy, Peyton would have about an inch difference in the length of his
legs by the time he stops growing. So,
they want to put screws into Peyton’s knee on the long leg to slow down that
growth. We will go back in to the doctor
around Peyton’s 7th birthday and reevaluate before we do
anything. There is always something new
with Peyton! He likes to keep us on our
toes!

Austin’s Blessing Day
Montana gave Austin his name and blessing on the 3rd
of March. We had all of my family at
church with us as well as a few friends.
It was wonderful and beautiful.
After church, we had lunch at our house.
The weather was supposed to be nice and then it decided to rain instead. So, we had tons of people in our small
house! It was crazy but we had yummy
food and good company. We were grateful
to everybody that was able to come and spend the day with us!

2nd Grade Presentation
The 2nd graders at Mason’s school put
on a presentation about the United States and our freedoms. It had some speaking parts but was mostly
singing. It was so fun to watch
Mason. He didn’t have a speaking part
but at the last minute, somebody didn’t show up and Mason ended up
speaking. He did really well!

New Dog
Yep, you read that right! We got a new dog. I found a shitzu that somebody was just
fiving away. Montana has always wanted
one since he grew up with them. I was
okay getting one as long as it was free and okay with the kids. They don’t shed and that is a must if it’s
gonna be inside. So, I found one and
Montana went and picked him up. His name
is Oscar and he is 8 years old. He is so
good with the kids and after he figured out that we were in charge, he stopped
having accidents in the house!

Valentine’s Day
This year we didn’t do much!
Mason and Peyton had parties at school and exchanged valentines. We got each of the boys a box of
chocolate. Montana got me a sand bucket
full of chocolate. And I got him the
Duck Dynasty book. We made a huge sugar
cookie for Eric and delivered it to him.
Also, Mason got glasses!
He was complaining of headaches for a few months so I thought he might
need his eyes checked. Eh always told me
they were fine. Well, he finally
admitted to me that he couldn’t see the board at school. I needed to make myself an eye appointment so
I made one for Mason as well. And sure
enough, his eyes are about as bad as mine!
So, we picked out some glasses and they came in on Valentine’s Day. I think he looks quite handsome!

CHD Day 1
Today is the first day of Congenital Heart Defect Awareness Week. Each day, I'll post another fact about CHD's. We are so grateful that our journey down this road is going so well right now. Peyton is growing, developing, and learning. He is one smart cookie! And we love him a lot!
A Real Bath
Austin's umbilical cord finally fell off on February 2. That means he can have a real bath. But this busy momma didn't get around to it for a few days. I needed Montana to be around when we did it so he could take pictures. So, it finally happened last night! Austin didn't really like it and screamed through the whole thing. But he smelled ten times better!

Super Bowl Sunday
It's Superbowl Sunday and we are enjoying it together as a family. We usually get together with friends or family but since Austin is still so little, we decided to do our own little thing. I bought fun "Superbowl" food and we ate and watched the game...and the commercials!
